Almería is now facing the last week of pre-season, as from next Monday it will focus fully on getting the team ready for its official debut in the League, which, remember, will be on Sunday, August 18, at 5 p.m., against Real Racing Club de Santander at the Campos de Sport de El Sardinero.
After the sixth warm-up match against Cartagena, in which the red-and-whites went from strength to strength, the squad has resumed training at the Anexo, where they will also train again on Tuesday at 09.45 hours before exercising in the evening session at the stadium on Wednesday. Let us remember that on Thursday, at 20.30 hours, Almería will play the Juan Rojas Memorial Trophy, which the club has recovered after several years, against an opponent like Al-Nassr, of Cristiano Ronaldo.
This last week of pre-season is used to finalise the rehearsals, the tests… of the football concepts that are to be developed in the League, as well as the different alternatives that the squad offers to configure the eleven with which it debuts in the official season.
This Monday, the red-and-whites had a physical part before going into more tactical detail, although at one point in the session the players who had played the most minutes against Cartagena went to the gym to recover.
