Begun in 2014, Riad Sattouf’s autobiographical series is coming to an end.
Riad Sattouf has just announced through an illustrated post on Instagram the date of publication of the sixth and last volume of “The Arab of the future”: it will be December 1, 2022, published by Allary.
Since the release of the first volume in 2014, “The Arab of the Future” – which recounts the author’s childhood memories in Libya, Syria and Brittany – has sold more than three million copies and has been translated into twenty languages in Worldwide . The first volume of “The Arab of the Future” received the Fauve d’or for best album at the Angoulême festival in 2015.
