LIVE Techno – Phenomenon Full moon which will be supermoon the fourth in a row since last May and the last this year.
As summer rolls into fall and the nights start to get longer, the last supermoon of the year will make a big splash.
Nicknamed ‘Sturgeon Moon‘, because it is the Full Moon of August, will reach its peak on Thursday, August 11 at 21:36 EDT or Friday, August 12 2022 at 08:36 WIB.
The moon will also appear bright and full on Wednesday and Friday nights (August 10 and August 12, 2022). Most consider this a supermoon which means the Full Moon occurs when Earth’s natural satellite is at its closest point to Earth or known as perigee.

Supermoons can appear larger, even up to 16 percent brighter in the sky than the average full moon.
Sturgeon Moon will be the fourth supermoon in a row after Buck Moon in July, Strawberry Moon in June and Flower Moon in May. August’s full moon will be the last supermoon of the year, according to the Farmer’s Almanac.
