Singer Olivia Žižková (46) has been experiencing the most difficult moments of her life in recent weeks. Her husband, former drummer Karel Gott († 80), Jan Žižka († 67), has long struggled with the insidious form of covid. But he eventually succumbed to the insidious diseases. The grieving widow, who could not even spend the last moments of her husband’s life by his side due to the increased temperature, published a post on her Instagram with SMS messages, which she managed to exchange with the musician before his death.

From the moment Žižek’s condition began to deteriorate, his wife filled her social networks with touching messages and joint photographs, and she continues to do so.

Recently on his Instagram she shared with the fans touching SMS messages, which she managed to exchange with her beloved husband before his condition became critical. Even though the singer and her husband were among the relatively controversial figures in Czech show business, what the widow is going through now has certainly affected everyone who knew them.

“It’s Olivka better, and it will be !!!” the musician assured his beloved wife that everything would turn out well. “I love you, and in those dreams I played our clip as we met in the cemetery.” he referred to their joint work with the words that he could go no further.

“It’s a force, I missed myself, too.” the singer wrote off to her husband. “It’s been a long time,” she added in a conversation. Žižka immediately answered her and from his words he literally freezes. “I really don’t know if I can do it. It’s a fight for life!” he wrote to the woman, assuring her that the doctors were really doing what they could.

Last farewell

The drummer, who many years ago was the first love of Karel Gott’s eldest daughter, Dominika Gottová (48), succumbed to coronavirus – a disease he had ridiculed in the past. He had a very difficult course, and since he had not been vaccinated, his condition continued to deteriorate. The musician had to be put to artificial sleep, but kidney failure occurred. Although Žižka fought bravely with the covid, he unfortunately subsequently succumbed to the overall sepsis of the organism.

Although the Žižeks publicly opposed the vaccination, Olivia for the daily Aha! she said her husband could not be vaccinated due to weakened immunity. In addition, the course of the entire disease may have been exacerbated by the fact that Žižka was an asthmatic.

Although Olivia did not plan to make a farewell to the public, she eventually decided that friends and fans would still like to say goodbye to Gott the drummer. The singer will specify the date of the last farewell for the public, but it should take place at the beginning of April in the Lucerna passage in Prague.
