The blonde herself is taken from Joyce Carol Oates’ fictional novel which reflects the life of Marilyn Monroe in her fictional story. Dominik’s version of the story was then dramatized.

Dominik himself states that this film is a work of fiction, not a biography as it is widely circulated in promotions. The fictional state also follows the novel, which is fiction.

Some things in Blonde are different from events in the real world. For example, the moment when Cass Chaplin (Xavier Samuel), friend of Marilyn Monroe, died.

In Blonde, Cass is said to have died while Marilyn was still alive. While in the real world, Cass Chaplin died in 1968, or five years after the real Monroe.

Blonde’s ending is the end of the life of Norma Jeane aka Marilyn Monroe. The final part of the movie star’s life began when he got involved in a scandal with the then president of the United States, JFK (Caspar Phillipson).

After being forced to serve the president’s lust, Monroe begins to feel a lot of oddities inside her. She often dreams that sometimes she panics. Before long, she discovered she was pregnant with the president’s child.

This condition made her life haunted by fear. Several times, a foreign phone terrified him. Until one day he was kidnapped by a mysterious group of people. She was taken to the operating room and her womb was cut off while she was sedated.

The forced abortion made Monroe even more mentally damaged. Plus, she also continues to feel lonely and is just waiting for the father figure she has been waiting for to come and visit him.

The mysterious father figure only sent a letter asking Monroe to be patient while waiting for it to arrive. But once, Monroe’s best friend Eddy Robinson (Evan Williams) called.

Eddy reported that their best friend, who was also Monroe’s love, Cass, was dead. Cass is said to have choked to death from her own vomiting from her drinking.

Monroe was shocked and devastated by the news. Also, Eddy said Cass left something for Monroe. Eddy also sent the package to his friend.

When the package arrived, it appeared to contain the filthy stuffed tiger Monroe had known since she was a child. The package also contained a letter revealing that Cass was the person behind the “dad’s letter” that Monroe was reading.
