The burning in Zacapa

Rigoberto Danilo Morales belongs to the gang led by Marvin Montiel Marín, alias El Taquero, who was found guilty of burning the bus that was transporting the victims.

As proven by the Public Ministry, on November 8, 2008, the criminal group had followed the bus that came from Nicaragua, however, the information that the criminal group had was that said bus was transporting a shipment of drugs that they intended to steal. .

However, they confused the transport unit and instead of intercepting the bus with the drugs, they intercepted the vehicle that was transporting the victims on an excursion.

Faced with the confusion and to avoid leaving a trace, the group proceeded to kill all the passengers in an area of Zacapaand after this they set fire to the bus to destroy all evidence.

For these events, the entire gang, including El Taquero, is serving a sentence of more than 800 years in prison.
