HBO spoils you at the start of the new year with the series adaptation of the hit video game “The Last of Us”. After a partnership with Amazon, the series is streaming on Amazon Prime Video and the first episode is available today. “The Last of Us” is basically a video game released in 2013 and which has won numerous awards for its cinematic and script quality. Game creator Neil Druckmann has teamed up with ‘Chernobyl’ screenwriter to create ‘The Last of Us’ series which tells the story of Joel, a black market trafficker, and Ellie, a daughter of 14 years he must escort and who is immune to a virus that is ravaging the United States. Watch the first episode of “The Last of Us” series starting January 16 on Amazon Prime Video. Season 1 has 9 episodes of approximately one hour.
