The Last of Us Part II: Review Bombing and Contrasting User and Critical Scores

User scores yes. You can no longer take this seriously because review bombing is sometimes done. You can clearly see this in this game as it (with a 5.8) differs greatly from the critical score (a 9.3!);

Two aspects have contributed to this:

-a twist in the story that certain people strongly disagreed with.
-certain homoerotic content (imagine that..) and the fact that a certain female character looked very masculine. Granted, that’s not a reason to burn down a game.

Childish reactions in my opinion. Although the game no longer had the impact of the first part, I still enjoyed playing it.

Critic scores, including the average that Meta calculates, can certainly differ from your own opinion and taste, but in my experience they are generally quite reliable.
