Those of us who have been lucky enough to have seen the entire first season of The Last of Us already knew that two episodes would get a lot of attention from a certain segment of the population. I covered the first shortly after episode 3 became available in January, and now it’s time for the second highly anticipated reaction.
The Last of Us’ seventh episode, aptly named Left Behind because it covers the game’s expansion of the same name, became available Monday night, and seeing yet another gay romance has once again led to a slew of negative user reviews on Metacritic. While a relatively small amount of them are somewhat righteous and share some of my complaint, another significant portion certainly likes to use the word “Woke” a lot… Is it a good sign that the latter is still watching?
