The beginning of the month will be frosty.
People’s weather forecaster Stanislav Shchedrin told what the last month of this winter will be like.
He shared his forecast for February with TSN.ua.
So, according to Shchedrin, in late January and early February, the weather in Ukraine will be frostybut the second half of the month is expected to be warm.
“Somewhere before February 5-7, we expect cool weather. Throughout the country, the air temperature will drop to -4-6 degrees during the day and to -7-9 degrees below zero at night, and in some places even down to -14 degrees. At the same time, significant precipitation is unlikely, only in the west of Ukraine snowfalls will periodically fly by,” the forecaster said.
Concerning second decade the last month of winter, then, according to Shchedrin, during this period, precipitation will increase, and the air temperature will be predominantly positive.
“In the second decade of February, the temperature will again rise to positive values, but there will also be much more precipitation, mainly in the form of rain and sleet. The last decade of February will be similar to the beginning of March, relatively warm weather will prevail throughout the country, the temperature will reach from – 2 to +7 degrees at night and up to -2+14 degrees during the day, depending on the region,” the forecaster said and noted that spring will come to Ukraine very early this year.
Recall that earlier weather forecasters reported that the winter of 2022-2023 in Ukraine would be generally warm. At the same time, there will be periods with frosts, but such cold spells will be short-lived.
