Josef Abrham’s health has been troubling for a long time. Even when his wife Libuška Šafránková died a year ago, he had to sit in a wheelchair at the last farewell. He contracted pneumonia last week.

Diary lightning the actor’s sister Božena Abrhámová said that. Her nephew Josef told her on Sunday that he had to take her father to the hospital in Mělník. So far, it has been said that he died on a farm in Liběchov, where his only son and his wife Ludmila took good care of him.

“I called Pep on Monday. They told him out loud so we could talk beautifully. Pepa had health problems, but he’d still be fine with us if this didn’t work out.” confided Božena in a broken voice.

Abrham was 82 years old and left for eternity 11 months after his beloved Libuška. The funeral will take place in the church of St. Agnes in Spořilov, Prague, the bereaved are still choosing a date.

“At least we said goodbye on the phone,” concluded Abrham’s sister.
