The late summer makes us fidget a bit, so the hope of a golden autumn is not far away. The last events of the cultural summer are offered in September and it definitely invites you to linger outdoors. Food, music, city tour or would you rather swap clothes?

The Street Food Festival will take place on the Arnsberger Neumarkt next weekend. From Friday to Sunday there are delicacies for just about every taste. Food trucks and stands with culinary delicacies will be available on Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday it starts at 2 p.m. and on Sunday you can feast again from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The soul rock and reggae band “KC & the Soulbrothers” will provide musical accompaniment on Saturday.
Sunday is family day with a bouncy castle. Drinks and seating are provided and of course you should bring the good atmosphere with you. The event is sponsored by the tourist association Arnsberg and Veltins and admission is free.
Have fun with little money
An event of a special kind is presented as part of the Arnsberg cultural summer on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. Choreographer Manuel Quero, together with Silas Eifler (musician), Irene Ebel and Tobias Weikamp (dance) and Furkan Arslan (act & dance), will offer an artistic city tour of Arnsberg entitled “The Search for Simorgh”. Anyone who has already attended events from the cultural summer this year knows how well worth seeing the performances are. Start is at Oberfreistuhl in Arnsberg.
As with a city tour, it goes to various stations in Arnsberg’s city history, where short performances by the artists are shown. “Simorgh” stands for searching and finding truth and self-knowledge. We should be thrilled. From the second station, the tour is barrier-free. Registration is not required and entry is free.
