Jorge Rodríguez, communication minister of the regime, announced on July 4 the death of a person in Bolívar state by covid-19. He assured that this man was obese, hypertensive and diabetic, which complicated his state of health.

The family of the deceased denied Rodríguez and told how the last days of Carlos Cabello were, 52 years old and CVG-Alcasa worker. This was reported by the director of NTN24, Maryorin Méndez.

When Cabello began to present health problems, his family took him to seek medical attention. After visiting three hospitals where they refused to take care of him, finally a private doctor reviewed him at home and recommended that he take the covid-19 test.

Cabello and her surroundings tested positive on the rapid test, and The PCR sent her to Caracas to confirm the diagnosis. At that time, he already had 41 degrees of fever and difficulty breathing, while his family members were asymptomatic.

They decided to transfer him to Uchire, in Unare, where they hospitalized him. That night it rained heavily and the CDI was flooded, so they took him to Uyapar in Puerto Ordaz, with the intention of later transferring him to the Ruiz y Páez Hospital, one hour from the city.

Upon arriving at the health center they inform him that the oxygen has run out, so Cabello and his family moved to the Guaiparo Hospital in San Félix, where after a fight with the medical personnel they manage to connect the oxygen.

To the relatives of Cabello they asked him to buy an oxygen regulator on the black market, alleging that the hospital did not have the supplies. However, after another discussion the regulator finally appeared and he was hospitalized.

In the early hours of July 3, Cabello called her daughter to tell her that she felt heartbroken and that there was not a single doctor at the scene.

The young woman moved to the hospital, where she was informed that she was probably the painting his dad was presenting was an attack by the running of the bulls and that he wanted to escape from the ICU.

Minutes later he was informed that his father had just died of cardiac arrest.

The drama of this family did not end there. Despite the fact that as a CVG worker, Profamilia would take care of all the funeral expenses, in The Orinoco Gardens Cemetery informed them that those killed by covid-19 had to pay an extra $ 100.

After the death of Carlos Cabello was known, neighbors and family friends refuse to approach them for fear of getting sick. They even denounce that they deny them the sale of food because they label them as transmitters of the virus.
