“The Last Dance”: Messi meets Ronaldo again

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo shaped an era in world football. The duels between Messi’s Barca and Ronaldo’s Real will probably be remembered by fans for a long time. The two superstars are now at an advanced age in their careers and play in the USA (Messi) and Saudi Arabia (Ronaldo).

Now the two superstars will probably meet again. Ronaldo’s Al Nassr will face Messi’s Inter Miami in the “Riyadh Season Cup” at the beginning of February. The Saudi club Al Hilal, where Neymar Jr is under contract, also takes part in the three-way tournament.

The event, as the name suggests, takes place in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The organizers are marketing the duel as “The Last Dance”. The exact date has not yet been set.

At the beginning of 2023, Ronaldo, as Al Nassr’s new signing, met Messi and PSG in Riyadh. Even back then, the encounter was hyped as the last game between Messi and Ronaldo.
