The last character in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” is Sora | MovieZine

Final Fantasy, Disney and Nintendo in one game ?! Sora from “Kingdom Hearts” is the last character in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”.

Then the fighting game “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” released in 2018, Nintendo has delivered a whole bunch of downloadable characters like Sephiroth from “Final Fantasy VII”, Steve from “Minecraft” and Banjo & Kazooie.

Recently, the game’s director Masahiro Sakurai announced that the very last character would be revealed during a live broadcast on Tuesday, which he urged “everyone” to watch, whether you play the game or not.

Today, the 82nd and very last character was revealed, which is no less than Sora from the “Kingdom Hearts” series.

The first “Kingdom Hearts” game was released in 2002 for Playstation 2 and is developed by the “Final Fantasy” studio Square Enix in collaboration with Disney, where Sora travels around different worlds from their films such as “The Lion King”, “Aladdin” and “The little Mermaid”.

Since then, the series has received a lot of sequels, such as “Kingdom Hearts III” from 2019 where we got to visit movies like “Frozen” and “Monsters Inc”.

The character becomes available on October 18th and is included in Fighters Pass Vol. 2. However, the DLC does not seem to contain anything related to Disney, which is a bit of a disappointment.

We were also told that the Doom Slayer from the “Doom” series is included in the package as a costume for the character Mii Fighter.

What do you think of the choice for the last character? What is your favorite character in “Super Smash Bros”?
