The phenomenon of quintet conjunction can be seen since 04.00 in the morning
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The last ten days of Ramadan 1443 H closed with astronomical phenomenon quintet conjunction. A quintet conjunction, in which five celestial bodies appear visually in line at once. These celestial bodies are not Saturn, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and the Moon.
Reporting from the LAPAN website, this phenomenon can be seen since 04.00 in the morning from the east extending to the southeast from Sunday (24/4/2022) except on April 29, 2022 which can only be witnessed since the beginning of astronomical dawn or 75 minutes before sunrise.
The moon enters its final crescent phase with an illumination of 45.3 percent to 3.7 percent. Jupiter’s magnitude varies from -2.09 to -2.11.
Meanwhile, Live Science reports on June 24, all the other planets in the Solar System—Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus will join together in a greater planetary alignment. We’ll probably need binoculars to see Neptune and Uranus.
Rows of large planets like this that can be seen by the human eye is a rare event. This incident has only happened three times since 2005.
