The ministry has prepared the information in response to a question from “Vazrazhdane” deputy Daniel Petrov, who asked to know the number of farms with cereals and oil-bearing crops at the sizes of the cultivated areas specified by him.
From the answer, it can be seen that the number of is the largest the applications for up to 500 decares of land. They are 22,310 and represent 76% of all indicated in the table.
Immediately after them are the producers with an area between 500 and 1,000 decares – 2,074. In the next large group are farms with 3,000 to 6,000 decares of land – 1,271.
The number of farmers with 2,000 to 2,500 decares and those who cultivate between 2,500 and 3,000 decares is less than the farmers who look after 10,000 to 30,000 decares.
