SIA Elektronika-Serviss will invest more than 700 thousand euros in the development of a new service and logistics center. The company has received more than 400 thousand euros from Swedbank and more than 330 thousand euros from the financial institution Altum in the form of a syndicated loan. The funding will be used to increase the capacity of the company’s service center. SIA Elektronika-Serviss specializes in the repair of a wide range of electrical equipment and the provision of warranty service. It is planned that with the obtained financing the company has purchased new premises, which will allow for more optimal repair of electrical service and also to provide logistics.
The financing issued by both financial institutions will allow SIA Elektronika-Serviss to purchase a new real estate in Riga, Slokas Street. The property, which consists of land and a building of the production building, will allow optimizing the amount of electrical service units to be performed. As Andrejs Toropovs, the owner and manager of Elektronika-Serviss, emphasizes: “In recent years, it has been felt that the average number of electrical engineering units in Latvian households is increasing. It is difficult to meet the growing demand with the previous premises, because the share of electrical equipment has significantly increased. If the company used to work mainly with the provision of television repair services, the repair of large household appliances, then most of the services are already related to mobile phones and small household appliances. At present, various robots and electric scooters, as well as other everyday electrical goods have also come to the fore. ”
Meanwhile Swedbank Head of Corporate Management Lauris Mencis emphasizes that ‘it is always a real entrepreneur’s ability to think several steps forward and invest in solutions that will allow the company to develop in the future. The decision of Elektronika-Serviss to invest in the new electrical goods warranty service center premises will allow not only to increase the range of goods serviced in service repairs, but also to use funds to promote work efficiency and optimization. ” A single service center will allow to improve both the inventory of goods, the quality of the acceptance process, as well as the issuance of post-service goods to their owners.
Currently, SIA Elektronika-Serviss provides repair service services in Riga, Tadaiķu, Brīvības, Dambja and Dēļu streets. After the establishment of the new service center on Slokas Street, the company plans to increase the range of serviced goods, providing repair services also outside Latvia.
The company started operating in 1992 and is the largest provider of electrical repair services in Latvia. Elektronika-Serviss specializes in the repair and warranty service of household appliances, mobile phones, electric scooters and other devices. The company is owned by Andrejs and Olga Toropovs. Last year, the company had a turnover of 2.5 million euros.
