The Lara Croft voice actress criticized the Tomb Raider anime showrunner’s words about the game series

Actress Camilla Luddington, who voiced the charming British tomb raider Lara Croft, criticized the words of the showrunner of the anime Tomb Raider the Legend of Lara Croft about the series of games.

In a recent interview with IGN, anime showrunner Tasha Huo said that the Lara Croft series has always been written “only by men.” Actress Camilla Luddington (voice of Lara Croft from Tomb Raider 2013 through Shadow of the Tomb Raider) drew attention to these words, writing the following on social networks:

From my personal experience, I want to thank Rhianna Pratchett for the script for Tomb Raider 2013 and Jill Murray, the main writer of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

It is worth noting that Rhianna Pratchett and Jill Murray are not the only women who wrote the script for the game series. In addition to them, in the history of Tomb Raider there is also Vicki Arnold – who wrote the story for the first three original Tomb Raiders from Core Design.

Apparently, Tasha Guo turned out to be another person who has no idea about the franchise she works with. The Netflix anime Tomb Raider the Legend of Lara Croft releases on October 10.
