On Friday, the Kuwaiti Emiri Diwan revealed developments in the health condition of the Emir of the country, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The Bureau stated that the condition of Sheikh Nawaf (86 years old) remains stable, and he is receiving the necessary medical care.
According to the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, “the health condition of the Emir of the country today, Friday, remains stable, thanks to God Almighty,” calling on God to grant him a speedy recovery.
He called on “everyone to be careful in transmitting information related to the health of the Emir of the country and to take it from official sources,” without further details.
On Wednesday morning, the Amiri Diwan announced in a statement, “The Emir of the country, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, was admitted to the hospital, to receive treatment and undergo medical examinations, following an emergency health problem,” indicating that his health condition is “stable.”
Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad assumed the reins of government in Kuwait on September 29, 2020, succeeding the Emir of the country, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Jaber Al-Sabah.
