The Kunstmuseum The Hague (the former Gemeentemuseum) is currently showing an exhibition about British fashion. And yes, you can come across very famous hats there.
Queen Máxima has lent two hats for the Royals & Rebels exhibition.

The right example is a white design by Philip Treacy, worn during the coronation of King Charles. You don’t get much more British than that.
The second hat comes from homegrown, from the studio of Berry Rutjes. The design is there because it was worn at Royal Ascot.

Also on display: a replica of Diana’s sheep sweater, groundbreaking designs by Vivienne Westwood, lots of checks and of course a trench coat from Burberry. The Royals & Rebels exhibition runs until January 7, 2024.
