Pupils and students from Bulgaria will be able to implement their ideas and projects for renewing the educational environment in schools and universities.
The opportunity for this provides the participation in the “skill.ED” competition of the “Kronoshpan” Foundation.
The program is aimed at graduates of general education, vocational and technical high schools/secondary schools and universities.
The Foundation will allow projects that are expected to participate in the competition to develop general, professional and technical education in any way, such as (but not limited to): equipping a laboratory, purchasing special equipment, creating specialized classes, offering scholarships for students, organizing internships, etc.
The total prize fund is 200,000 euros.
The projects approved by the jury will receive funding of up to 10,000 euros, depending on their budget.
Pupils and students from the countries where Kronošpan develops its activities will participate in the competition.
Three from each country will be selected from all submitted concepts.
Innovators from each school or university will be able to submit only one project for participation.
The composition of the jury that will evaluate the projects consists of two representatives of the “Kronoshpan” Foundation and one representative of Kronoshpan from the country where the participating project is from.
The evaluation criteria are originality; applicability; results; budget and sustainability.
Applicants can apply for the competition until October 31, 2024. Their evaluation will be done until November 22, 2024, and the results will be announced on November 29, 2024.
Back in time, Burgas students’ project proposals for a laboratory, a school photovoltaic park and a workshop for hands-on activities received very high marks and deserved funding.
Projects are submitted only and exclusively online by completing an application form that will be available on the Foundation’s website www.kronospanfoundation.org/skilled.
