The Kristiine regional board of the Central Party decided to support Mihhail Kõlvart in the election of the chairman of the party at the extraordinary congress in Paide.
“We have to look towards the next elections, and considering this, the best party chairman is Mihhail Kõlvart, whose achievements as mayor and results in the elections confirm that he can unite different parties and receive the support of the people worthy of a prime minister,” said the chairman of the Kristiine region of the Center Party. He added that in the last Riigikogu elections, Mihhail Kõlvart achieved the second result after Kaja Kallas, while the competitor within the party, Tanel Kiik, ranked 66th as the number one in the region.
Jaanus Riibe added that Mihhail Kõlvart has shown himself to be a strong leader of the city of Tallinn, a leader of organizations who implements what he promises. “People know him and he knows what people’s concerns and problems are. More than fourteen thousand votes in the last Riigikogu clearly shows that Mihhail Kõlvart can get the people’s support with his actions. He speaks to both young and old, men and women, people with different mother tongues. As a strong vote magnet and a person with great work ability, he will lead the Center Party to the winner of the next elections,” Riibe is convinced.
