The situation around Ukraine and “NATO actions at the Russian borders” are the main issues that the presidents of Russia and the United States will discuss at the upcoming talks. Press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said this on the air of the Russian First Channel, the government newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
“Naturally, Ukraine. There are many disputes over Ukraine,” said Peskov.

Also, according to him, on the agenda will be “extremely provocative actions of the NATO armed forces near the borders of Russia.” The actions of the Alliance raise concern and dictate the need for adequate measures.
“But taking these measures, we still operate on our territory,” Peskov said.
Speaking about the format of the meeting, Peskov explained that the video format is more preferable to begin with, but everything will depend on the decisions of Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden.
