The Kremlin’s most famous critic, Alexei Navalny, could be sent to the United States if he is a US citizen or affiliated with the country’s intelligence services.

The Kremlin, and especially President Putin himself, has avoided mentioning Alexei Navalny’s name. Critics of the government believe that this is a conscious choice so that he is not legitimized as a political opponent in the Russian public space.
