Dmitry Peskov commented on the “emotional” reaction of social networks to the failures of the Russian army in Ukraine.
Critical statements on the “special military operation” of the Russian Federation in Ukraine in the light of the counter-offensive by the Ukrainian armed forces are allowed, but the line on the matter is “very unstable”. This was stated in a briefing on September 13 by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, reports Interfax.
“As for the other critical points of view, as long as they remain within the framework of the current legislation, this is pluralism. But the line is very, very thin. You have to be very careful here,” he stressed.
Thus the speaker of the Russian leader responded to the request of journalists to comment on the critical posts in the Telegram channels in relation to the latest events in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions, where Russian troops are defeated and retreat.
Peskov noted that public opinion reacts “very emotionally”, but “the Russians support the president” and his decisions.
