“The Kremlin Asserts Black Sea Will Never Become a NATO Sea”

“The Black Sea will never be a ‘Nato sea.’ This is a common sea for all littoral states, it must be a sea of ​​cooperation, interaction and security. And it must have indivisible security,” Peskov said.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for turning the Black Sea into a “NATO sea”, at the same time stating the need for its demilitarization.

On that occasion, Peskov also revealed that currently there are no plans to hold telephone talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“Currently, no telephone contact between the leaders of Russia and China is scheduled,” Peskov said, answering a relevant question.

As is known, Chinese President Xi Jinping made a state visit to Russia from March 20-22, where he held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During the meeting, the two signed a joint statement on plans to develop key areas of Russia-China economic cooperation by 2030.
