Libreville, August 10, 2023 (AGP) – The delegation of the Ministry of Public Works led by the Secretary General, Pierre Mathieu Obame, noted, on August 10 in Kougouleu, the progress of work on the Kougouleu-Medouneu section.
Launched about a month ago, the work on the Kougouleu-Medouneu axis has progressed over 18 km, according to the winning company.
“The project generally consists of road maintenance over 40 km. We have already carried out laterite reloading on 18 km, so there are 22 km left. It remains to carry out the cleaning of ditches and the hydraulic works (…) which will be in the form of a metal nozzle in a concrete cradle and covered with sand, before ending the sunshine”, indicated Colas Gabon’s operations manager, Marwane Benaissa. The company is giving itself three (3) months to complete the work.
A level of progress of work that the delegation of monitoring and evaluation of the Ministry of Public Works considers satisfactory.
« We are delighted to see the company’s progress on the Gougouleu-Medouneu axis between PK 80 and PK 120. This work was launched barely a month ago. The level of satisfaction is total. When we appreciate the implementation methodologies implemented, naturally, the quality is there.“, rejoiced the Secretary General of the said ministry, Pierre Mathieu Obame.
After this stage, those of the Sam-Bibasse and Sam-Mitzic axes will follow.
