JAKARTA – Many related things natural phenomena has been explained by the Koran and science, one of which is about the darkness in the deep sea, a region where humans will not be able to live.
In the deep sea itself, it also has big waves that are in the deepest location of the ocean, even light cannot reach them.
The sea itself has more area than the land on Earth. In the ocean there is a lot of life in the form of fish and other biota. In the sea there are also waves that have considerable strength.
Then modern science believes a depth of 200 meters under the sea is impermeable to light. This area is called aphotic. Meanwhile, below 1,000 meters there is no light at all.
This has long been revealed by the holy Koran. In the book ‘The Koran vs. Modern Science According to Dr. Zakir Naik’ by Ramadhani and his friends, it is explained that apart from being dark, there are also waves under the sea.
Waves that occur in the ocean are not only found on the surface, but also on the inside. The fact that there is darkness and waves in the deep sea was put forward by researchers in 1900.
While in the holy book of the Qur’an, the darkness in the sea and the occurrence of waves in the sea has been explained, Allah SWT said:
Oh firmly Lijay Laze Haird Jaze Vajo Jody Jaja’s Lazohon’s Lazons Lazo, Allah
“Or as the darkness of the deep sea, covered with waves, upon which the waves (also), upon it (again) clouds; the darkness that overlaps, when he stretches out his hand, he cannot see it, (and) whoever is not given light (guidance) by Allah, he has no light at all. ” (Surat an-Nur: 40)
