Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan visited Tesla Boss Elon Musk’s Headquarters on April 26. During the meeting, there was a unique moment when Elon Musk was served Kopiko candy made by Mayora.
After the meeting, a photo showing Elon Musk holding a Kopiko candy became a topic of conversation on social media. So, who actually took the initiative to bring Kopiko candy to Elon Musk’s headquarters?
Director of TBS Energi Utama Pandu Patria Sjahrir who was part of the Luhut cs group said that the Kopiko candy was brought by Luhut. “Mr. Luhut, he likes Kopiko. When you try everything, you eat everything,” said Pandu in the Outspoken program detik.com.
Pandu said that everyone in the room tasted Kopiko candy, including Elon Musk. This Tesla boss immediately received Kopiko from Luhut and tasted it.
Indonesian Ambassador to the US Rosan Roeslani said that the presence of Kopiko candy in the meeting was because Kopiko became candy that astronauts brought to space. After Kopiko was held by Elon Musk, Mayora’s shares immediately flew 120 points to a level of Rp. 1,750.
Previously, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan met with Elon Musk to discuss investment plans in Indonesia. This meeting was continued with Jokowi’s visit to SpaceX headquarters on 15 May.
Pandu revealed that the meeting had been in process since 8 months ago. And the plan is that Elon Musk will come to Indonesia in November 2022.
