One of them was through accusations that the chairman of the Honorary Board of the contra-AHY Democratic Party, Max Sopacua, said that the Chairman of the Democratic Party Faction, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono or Ibas, had not been touched in the corruption case. the Hambalang project.

“Max Sopacua’s statement adds to the list that they have absolutely no good intentions towards the Democrat Party which is continuously building slander, including against Mas Ibas,” said Kamhar, Thursday.

Kamhar assessed that this statement could actually be turned back to Max. This is because Max was the one who was questioned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the Hambalang case

“Max Sopacua’s slander is like a saying, patting the water in the pan sprinkled on his own face. There are many digital traces, in fact Max Sopacua has been investigated by the KPK regarding the Hambalang case,” said Kamhar.

He also said that the counter-AHY camp was looking for a sensation by holding a press conference in Hambalang.

According to Kamhar, these actions contradicted the claims of the AHY faction, which so far claimed to have good intentions to save the Democratic Party.

“What they are doing is slandering, distorting facts, arranging lies, acting and various other activities to destroy the Democratic Party,” he said.

Previously reported, Max asked the KPK to thoroughly investigate the Hambalang Kareba case. According to him, there were still a number of names involved in the case but had not been legally processed.

Max did not reveal in detail the names he accused of being involved in the Hambalang case. However, he said, Ibas was one of the names that had not been “touched”.
