MIAMI.- Frost School of Music at the University of Miami marks the beginning of a new future for the music with the completion of the Knight Center for Music Innovation, a 25,000-square-foot construction and $36.5 million invested to develop a technological innovation center with cutting-edge music functions.
Designed by H3, a company of the Arquitectónica firm, the new building matches the talent of the students, teachers and Frost School alumni, to continue to reflect the innovation that has been a hallmark of the school since its founding almost 100 years ago, in addition to its name change in 2003.

Construction of the new space in Miami
Made possible in large part by a gift from the John S. and James L. The building features two dynamic performance spaces: the Robert and Judi Prokop Newman Recital Hall, a world-class theater with superior acoustics, seating up to 200 people; and the Thomas D.
