Armed Criminal Terrorist Group (KKB) return to action killing 4 civilians in Papua. The TNI AD strongly condemns the cruel act of the KKB.
“The TNI AD obviously strongly condemns the barbarism perpetrated by the KKB against civil society,” Indonesian Army Service Chief (Kadispenad), Brigadier General Hamim Tohari told reporters on Wednesday (12/14/2022). .
Hamim then spoke of decisive action against the KKB. He said the TNI CEO was ready if ordered to carry out a military operation by TNI commander Admiral Yugo Margono.
“Regarding the completion of the KKB, the TNI AD is always ready to do so if it receives an order from the TNI commander as the authority to deploy TNI forces for military operations,” he added.
KKB kills 4 civilians
The KKB killed 4 civilians. The cases of the murder of four people by KKB terrorists occurred in two locations, namely in Gunung Bintang Regency, Papua’s Mountain Province, and Puncak Regency, Central Papua Province.
There were three residents who were killed in Gunung Bintang regency in the mountains of Papua. Meanwhile in Puncak Regency, one resident killed was an employee of Bank Papua.
Komnas HAM also spoke about this murder. Komnas HAM called for the perpetrators to be arrested.
“In my opinion there should be a law enforcement process against the armed group that shot civilians in Puncak district,” said Komnas HAM Commissioner Uli Parulian.
