The draw for the final quotation of the King’s Cup competitions brought the Al-Ittihad Jeddah club against Al-Shabab, leader of the Saudi League ranking, which puts Egyptian duo Ahmed Hegazy and Tariq Hamed to the test.
The Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques Cup 2022-2023 will be held, with the participation of 16 teams, which are the clubs of the Saudi Roshan League.
The draw for the 16th round of the King’s Cup took place tonight, Tuesday, and resulted in 8 strong matches. We will review them for you in the following lines:
Youth x Union
– Fayha x Golfo
Al-Fath × Al-Tai
Al-Hilal × Al-Ettifaq
– Major × Al-Batin
Damak × Units
– Taawon × Abha
Victory × justice
Ahmed Hegazy has been wearing the Al-Ittihad shirt since October 2020, coming from West Bromwich Albion, before Tariq Hamed joined him last summer, from Zamalek.
Al-Ahly Jeddah and his South African manager, Pitso Mosimane, are absent from the Copa del Rey after relegation to the first division.
Interestingly, Al-Fayhaa’s club were the last to win the King’s Cup title last season when they managed to beat Al-Hilal in the final match, on penalties.
