On Thursday, the seventh episode of this year’s season of “The King Commands” rolled out on TV Norge and Discovery+. With that, the participants have so far been able to show what they are capable of, and the five comedians have made up their minds about each other’s efforts and creative solutions.
Last in line is comedian Lars Berrum (36), who is clear in his speech that there is one participant he cannot handle losing to, namely presenter Leo Ajkic (39).

Ajkic has, in his familiar style, so far in “The King Commands”, done surprisingly well, despite his nonchalant and relaxed attitude, which for many can be perceived as effortless.
Shows little effort
When Nettavisen met Berrum and the rest of the participants in connection with the program’s press conference in January, the former could say that the participants had agreed that they were most surprised by Ajkic’s performance.
Because while the others work hard and grind for a long time on the tasks, there is little to indicate that the presenter from Bergen makes any particular effort to carry out the tasks they are given by presenter Bård Ylvisåker (40).
– We have all agreed that it is Leo Ajkic, that is. He doesn’t give a shit about making an effort. He does the bare minimum and owns it. He just glides through life and only stops by “The King commands”, Berrum said.
The 36-year-old told Nettavisen that it appears that Ajkic is actually on another errand in Drammen, and only pops in where “the King commands” to solve some tasks at the same time.

– I don’t think he understands the program, even though he does it very well. He’s not an “underdog” either, he’s just not in it, Berrum told Nettavisen.
With a twinkle in his eye, Ajkic told Nettavisen that he is a “street boy” and has other skills such as “street knowledge” to bring into the competition. He claims that is the reason why he is climbing past the other participants on the results list.
Shows a new side of himself
Berrum also did not hide that he will not cope with the loss, if it is Ajkic who runs away with the victory in this year’s season.
– I thought it was a bit painful, if he runs away with the victory in this programme, said the 36-year-old from Bærums Verk.
Comedian and UN advisor Hani Hussein (28) told Nettavisen that she is also surprised that Ajkic is leading the program so far.
– We are all sitting there with a slightly high heart rate and are stressed about how we are going to complete the task, it also cuts to Leo who is sitting there with a resting heart rate and takes three seconds and manages it, said Hussein and added:
– But we’ve all had some peaks and troughs, and Leo has had some troughs too. I had a good laugh at him.

Berrum agrees with Hussein, and claims that Ajkic often appears as a hard-nosed rapper and shows a side of himself that he does not think the Norwegian people have witnessed.
– I don’t think the Norwegian people have seen Leo Ajkic be embarrassed and red-faced. Leo blushes quite a bit and it gives me so much, Berrum said with a laugh and added:
– So if he wins with the lousy effort he puts in, it’s still worth it just to see Leo Ajkic embarrassed of himself.
