As the 2010 decade draws to a close, the New York Magazine devotes a special issue to those years and what they changed in the American cultural landscape. An era that the title chose to embody on the cover of reality TV star Kim Kardashian-West.
As the New York Magazine, Kardashian “Did not only understand the changes that were just starting to take shape in the culture[au début de la décennie]; Obviously, she herself participated by changing our way of understanding celebrity, even the Internet”.
Having made her name a brand and her life a spectacle, the one who is also known for the couple she forms with Kanye West, draws in the pages of the magazine a very satisfied assessment of the last ten years:

In addition to his interview with Kardashian, the review also features in this issue meetings with writers Margaret Atwood and Ta Nehisi Coates, with the co-founder of the site Buzzfeed Jonah Peretti, or the activist Deray McKesson, one of the figures of the movement against racial discrimination “Black Lives Matter”.
