As our paper previously wrote, a tragic attack took place in July at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, when a 17-year-old youth attacked the children and adults present with a knife. The attack claimed the lives of three children aged between six and nine. During the attack, eight other children and two adults were also injured, several of them were hospitalized in critical condition. So far, no terrorist motive has been found in the background of the attack, but now “the barrier has been broken”.

The suspect in the attack, Axel Rudakubana, was charged with attempting to produce a biological weapon and possessing a terrorist manual, according to Merseyside police. Although it was not found on the spot ricin toxin trace, according to the charges, the 18-year-old attempted to create a biological weapon using the deadly substance, wrote the GB News.

In addition to the previous charges of murder, Rudakubana is now also charged with new charges related to terrorism.

The authorities announced that an al-Qaeda manual was also discovered at Rudakubana, which may provide guidance for the preparation of terrorist acts. This new charge came to light when, after a three-month investigation, authorities still indicated that the July 29 attack was not directly considered an act of terrorism.
