The woman who threw herself on September 24 under the high-speed train to Sofia in Vratsa and died on the spot, turned out to be ex-prisoner Violina Lalkovska.
The woman, who was 51, killed herself days after she was released from prison near Sliven.
Lalkovska was sentenced to 18 years in prison after a long trial. She was accused of murdering two pensioners in Vratsa on Christmas Eve in 1997. She was hired to serve and help the elderly.
These two pensioners are actually the paternal grandparents of the native singer Beloslava. The mother is Aneta Sotirova, who has a second marriage with the victim’s son – Borislav Stoyanov.
The victims were Lalkovska, 24-years-old at the time, Veneta, 76-years-old, and Krastyo Stoyanovi, 82-years-old. Their son Borislav Stoyanov is a famous psychologist and businessman.
After the murder, the housekeeper painted the walls of the apartment stained with blood with swastikas and other symbols, washing the furniture to simulate Skinner’s attack.
Before the court, Lalkovska said that her attack was caused by the desire of the elderly Stoyanov to rape her, and previous indecent proposals. So, after joining him, he stabbed her several times with a kitchen knife.
Later, he also attacked Veneta Stoyanova, who had returned home, also killed her, locked the apartment and disappeared.
During the trial, her defense presented her as insane and mentally unstable. After many incidents, she was convicted ten years later, and in 2007 the court recognized her as being completely safe at the time of the double murder.
