The Kijote concert is sold out

Great success on Sunday 6 November for this first collaboration between the Saint-Pons patrimoine associations (ASPP) and Chansonyme who received Kijote in concert in the castle hall. The ASPP, very committed to the enhancement of the country’s heritage, has rehabilitated a room in the castle for cultural events as part of its mission to restore the aforementioned monument.

Thanks to the Chansonyme association, which brings together French authors and composers eager to make themselves known, he was able to receive the artist Kijote, a native of Carcassonne.

This lyrics singer is indeed part of the French tradition of composer-performers, such as Brel, Ferré and Brassens. He is also influenced by gypsy swing and flamenco, he built his universe of him. It is therefore inside this small medieval room with stone walls and vaulted ceiling that about forty people attended an intimate concert in the image of the artist. For more than an hour the artist conquered his audience with his poetic universe and his sensitivity. With his third album Shadow and light released a year ago, The concert ended with success and the usual conviviality of the Saint-Ponaise association which offered a jar of friendship in which everyone could exchange with the singer.
