Kia has built its premium electric car on the all-new E-GMP platform, making the body look very unconventional. It is a mixture of station wagon, SUV and coupe. Kia has also added an interesting range of performance variants to the attractive design. The car can be purchased with 170, 228 or 325 horsepower.

The cheapest version is considered to be a car with an output of 170 horsepower, which will be possible to order only with a weaker battery capacity of 58 kWh and rear-wheel drive. At the same time, it will not be possible to combine this version with GT-Line sports equipment. However, the price will still not be low and Kia values the basic design at 1,180,980 crowns. A car with rear-wheel drive, with an output of 228 hp and a larger battery capacity of 77.4 kWh costs 100 thousand crowns more.

The smaller battery size, which is enough for about 400 km range, received only the weakest model, all the others have a larger one. With the rear-wheel drive EV6, it travels up to 510 kilometers on a single charge according to the WLTP methodology, while it is 490 km with all-wheel drive. Batteries with a capacity of 77.4 kWh can be recharged at a voltage of 800 V from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 18 minutes.

As for other versions, Kia states in the press release the prices of models equipped with GT-Line. The EV6 model in this equipment and with an 228-horsepower engine costs 1,380,980 crowns. The strongest version with an output of 325 horsepower is also available with all-wheel drive and, of course, larger batteries and also represents the price peak of the offer, specifically it costs 1,481,980 crowns. For that price, however, the customer gets a maximum speed of 260 km / h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.

As standard, the Kia EV6 offers 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, navigation and full LED headlights. The GT-Line has an inch larger wheels, heated and ventilated seats and a head-up display.

Kia offers EV6 with a traditional warranty for seven years or 150 thousand kilometers. It is also interesting to note that customers who order EV6 between May 3 and August 31 will receive a bonus of 1.9 MWh of free energy for one year. That should be enough to cover 1,000 kilometers a month. More importantly, they will also receive a free AC charging cable from the accessories catalog.
