The Copa Sudamericana has its first team qualified for the quarterfinals. This Tuesday, Racing beat Huachipato in Avellaneda by 6-1 (8-1 on aggregate) and qualified for the next round. It waits for the winner of Belgrano vs. Paranaense. Meanwhile, Ramón Díaz’s Corinthians eliminated Bragantino on penalties (5-4) despite losing 2-1 at home in the return leg (3-3 in total).
On Wednesday it will be the turn of Lanús and Central as far as the Argentines are concerned. Grana will host Liga de Quito with the advantage of having won the first leg 2-1. Canalla, on the other hand, will play in Brazil against Fortaleza. The first leg ended 1-1.
Boca and Belgrano will take to the field on Thursday. Xeneize will visit Cruzeiro in Belo Horizonte, which they beat 1-0 at the Bombonera. For its part, Pirata will have to turn the series around in Córdoba against Paranaense. For now, it is 1-2.

The quarter-finals will take place on 18 and 25 September, the semi-finals will be played on 23 and 30 October and the grand final is scheduled for 23 November in Asunción, the capital of Paraguay.
