The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Ultra model has a 200MP main camera sensor on the back.
Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus specifications to the FCC
According to the FCC listing, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus support 25W fast charging. The vanilla battery unit has the model number EB-BS912ABY and has a capacity of 3785mAh (supposed to be marketed as a 3900mAh unit ). The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus battery module has a battery with model number EB-BS916ABY and a battery capacity of 4565mAh (supposed to be promoted as a 4700mAh battery).
The FCC listing shows that the phones will use a Qualcomm SoC, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Notably, these are European models on the FCC site, which indicates that Samsung is already switching Exynos to Qualcomm in Europe and the rest of the world, as mentioned earlier. The phones will come with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. That’s pretty much all that has been revealed about the phones through the certification.
As we go, previous leaks have claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus will come with a 6.6-inch display, while the standard model will have a smaller 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both are likely to run on Android 13 OneUI 5.0 custom OS out of the box. The chipset is likely to pack 8GB/12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
