The Pentagon youth center cannot open due to the current corona protective measures.
The employees of the youth center are continuing their well-known digital offer and have also come up with a few new things in order to be able to continue to offer their visitors an interesting program. So there will initially be digital and pick-up offers until 02/14/21.
Digital:
Digital gambler meeting
(Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
Here you can play online together using the communication tool Discord or WhatsApp. Anyone who can play computer, tablet or console games online can play with Maximilian Thiel and Marc Tebar Caballero. Everyone determines what is played together.
Learning coaching with Karo
(Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. & Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
For everyone who is looking for support with homeschooling, there is “learning coaching”. The future teacher Karolina Lunitz supports children and young people with their learning topics via WhatsApp or Zoom.
Digital Pentagon on Gather.town
(Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. & Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
The digital youth center on the “Gather.town” interaction tool is brand new. This program offers the possibility to set up a virtual room yourself and to use it interactively. The Pentagon employees Karolina Lunitz and Andrea Lohnherr have recreated the JZ Pentagon here. Those who enter the digital youth center can move around with the help of a small avatar and move towards or away from other people. Only when at least two people come close does a small video chat window open and you can hear and see each other. This enables children and young people to have personal conversations with their friends. There are also many games that can be played digitally together in the room, for example chess, billiards and Monday painting. There are also plans to expand the rooms with the participants according to their ideas and wishes. The digital pentagon is only open at the specified times. The employees are available at all times for assistance, discussions and games.

The popular offer is available again this year. On Mondays and Wednesdays, you can borrow board games and video games from Ralf Brester and Andrea Lohnherr at the craft room window of the JZ Pentagon, pick up creative bags or print out materials for school. The creative bags are now even available twice a week with great content for handicrafts, works, cooking, baking, playing and having fun. With the bags, everyone can easily get creative and spend more time at home.
In addition, board games and video games can still be borrowed or materials for school can be printed out. If you want a personal conversation, you can also make an appointment for this time.
