Today, the “Jüri Ratas bicycle race” was held for the 17th time on the health tracks of the Pirita Sports Center, where 409 cycling enthusiasts took part!
In Jüri Rata, the idea of organizing a bicycle race started many years ago from the desire to offer families the opportunity to practice health sports together in the fresh air and have a good time. The special feature of the course that runs along the Pirita forest trail and Lillepi park compared to other competitions is the interesting and varied course, which offers beautiful views of nature and excitement for the whole family. The competition program included several distances for both younger and older children and adults, and this year’s high number of participants has proven once again that cycling is a beloved sport among sports fans of all ages.
The timed ride was the longest (12.5 kilometers). In the men’s category, Markus Pajur won, second place went to Artur Kupp, and third place went to Raiko Kaldoja. In the women’s competition, Carol Kuuskman was the winner, followed by Kristin Jõgi and Eva Sepping.
