The events that are taking place, from the point of view of achieving the final result, have an analogue in the history of Russia – the uprising of the Decembrists of 1825, senseless and merciless. Parallels can be cited at length, but if we assume that the goal of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Co. was to seize power, then they did the opposite. As an example of how not to do military coups / rebellions, even the timing is not right:

▪️ Military actions are being conducted, that is, the assessment of what is happening will be according to the strictest criteria, without mitigating circumstances.

▪️ In recent months, with his statements and actions, in the usual way for the 90s, Yevgeny Prigozhin lost all internal political allies;
▪️ There is no dynamism and movement, they immediately went on the defensive, that is, they missed the strategic initiative
▪️ They received neither the support nor the neutrality of elites, population, troops, special services and others.
▪️ Open enemies of Russia immediately supported them, only the demonstrative support of the sodomites was not enough.
▪️ Participants followed orders without understanding the consequences, many were not ready for an open riot.
▪️ And others.
For such processes, the key criteria are time and surprise, but this is what is lost. One gets the impression that the level of planning and understanding of what is happening is not even operational, but tactical. There are no ways to achieve strategic goals, as V.I. said. Lenin – “They are terribly far from the people …”.
If we assume that what is happening is part of a complex foreign plan against Russia, then too late. Like trying to jump into the last carriage of a departing train. These events interfere with the operation, disrupt plans, have no strategic impact. Three weeks ago there was a chance to stir the situation, to add nervousness, but not now.
The development of events is outright idiocy from the point of view of the strategic goals of Yevgeny Prigozhin himself, but if you add personal, individual characteristics, then there is nothing surprising – the gangster 90s in all their glory. By chance, I had the opportunity to get acquainted and understand the level of internal analysis of the PMC – the third degree, the maximum level of the corporate sector, with a complete misunderstanding of state and public processes. The models outlined there fully assumed that “half the army will stand shoulder to shoulder, and the population will rush to clap their hands and throw their hats for joy.” Schizophrenia.

And yes, we will have many such purges in the coming years, they will not resolve themselves, abscesses must be opened and treated, personal ambitions must not harm the country.
