The magistrate of Court Number 6 of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has issued a car in which the expulsion of Citizens is suspended from Councilor for Security in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, Evelyn Alonso.
It is one of the precautionary measures requested by the councilor on understanding that their fundamental rights had been violated by the orange formation upon being expelled after supporting the motion of censure against the socialist mayor, Patricia Hernández.
The judicial decision comes after the celebration last Wednesday of the hearing where the Prosecutor’s Office joined the request for the suspension of the expulsion.
The car warns that the party proceeded to expel immediately and “without recording the initiation of a file or allowing allegations to be made.” In the court order, in addition to nullifying the departure of Alonso de Ciudadanos condemns this party to pay the costs and sets a bond for civil liability of 500 euros.
This judicial decision implies that Alonso abandons the status of mayor not attached and therefore, you can recover your salary and your participation in the boards of directors of the Development Society Y Maritime park. The trial will be held in April.
