The joy of Radiolé’s music in the eighth edition of its awards | leisure and culture

Seville

The Assembly Hall of the Cajasol Foundation has reopened its doors to host the Radiolé Awards Gala, already a classic in Seville. Completely full seats and maximum anticipation to see a cast of young and veteran artists who are the past, present and future of the most indigenous music.

Unique voices like that of Francisco, overwhelming personality like that of María del Monte, the freshness of María Carrasco or the seniority of La Década Prodigiosa. The renewed return of Fondo Flamenco, the sound of the south to Juanlu Montoya’s compás or flamenco itself and the young María Terremoto who received the Temple and Pureza award, and who sings to you as much for Jerez as for Beyoncé.

The lights came on and on stage, as master of ceremonies, Joaquín Hurtado. María Carrasco, with her sweet voice and her beautiful songs, ignited the audience very soon, she even surprised Joaquín by singing him “happy birthday” when La Década Prodigiosa arrived, everyone sang their songs. Luis Ybarra and Mila Ortiz have been in charge of delivering the Temple and Pureza award to María Terremoto, the most flamenco heiress of the purest Jerez style. Both colleagues appeared on stage with a birthday cake for Joaquín Hurtado on behalf of the entire Radiolé and Radio Sevilla team.

Francisco’s presence and voice filled the entire stage and Juanlu Montoya made everyone present dance from their seats, “But I’ll take it easy…, he sang” All get ready for María del Monte, the ‘Queen of the sevillanas’ Radiolé Prize which was awarded to her by the director of the channel Ramón Fernández Núñez. The end of the party was staged by Fondo Flamenco, leaving the thermometer high. A final photo with all the awarded artists on stage was the closing of this eighth edition of the Radiolé Awards.
