Shortly before Christmas, Jonna Brengel (18) became a Bundesliga player and thus gave herself what is probably her best present. In the 84th minute, the former B-Junior Bundesliga player (18 games/13 goals) from FC Speyer 09 came on in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 3-0 home win against bottom-placed Turbine Potsdam.
After her time at the Speyerer Sportpark, Brengel went via SC Freiburg to the Hessians. In the second Frankfurt team she played 48 second division games in which she scored 15 goals. The midfielder also has appearances in the German youth national team (U16, 19).
