The artist moved to America, where she sits on the jury of a prestigious award.
Famous Ukrainian singer Assia Akhat is in America, the ZhVL program says.
In the USA, the artist writes new compositions and walks around New York. And also chooses the winners of the Grammy Awards:
“This is a big responsibility. I know what it is to be an artist and to be very dependent on the jury. I listen very carefully, my conscience is clear. Professionalism and style in music are very important to me,” said Akhat.
Akhat has been a Grammy judge for the third year in a row. She joined the jury in 2021. To receive such an honorable mission, she first received recognition for her original music, and then the current judges gave their recommendations. Consequently, she became the first Ukrainian on the Grammy judging team. The first, but from now on not the only one. After all, this year the singer Tina Karol joined the award.
