He and Manfred Herz founded the microelectronics company in Bodenheim in 1984. It all started in a former distillery. From there, iC-Haus continued to expand. There are now “iC houses” in the USA, Asia and Europe. In 2012, the company was recognized as “Entrepreneur 2012”. “We are always proud that companies like yours are growing in our district. You not only assume responsibility for your employees, but also for customer requests and social issues,” explained the district administrator at the award ceremony. In addition to technological achievements, iC-Haus is also socially involved. This includes regular donations to medical facilities, aid organizations and local associations.
